Corona Virus _Health Education
On 06/02/2020, Monday a Health Education programme regarding Corona Virus was conducted in our college. The class was started at 1.45pm and it was delivered by Mrs. Sangeetha Mohandas. The whole staff and students were gathered in the multipurpose hall for attending the class. She explained in detail about the history of Corona Virus, its definition, etiology, route of transmission, signs and symptoms and the symptomatic treatment. She stressed the importance of home isolation, respiratory hygiene and hand hygiene, cleaning and disinfection of environment as the major safety precautions to arrest the spread of Corona virus. The students were instructed to educate the public regarding cough etiquette, use of mask or handkerchief while coughing. We should also use personal protective equipments in the ward. The correct and consistent use of PPE also helps to reduce the spread of pathogens. The current outbreak of 2019 novel Corona virus (2019-nCoV) was first identified in China but has now spread internationally, impacting an increasing number of countries. The class has ended at 2.20pm.
Memory Walk 2019
World alzemiers day was observed on 21st September 2019 by the students of Sreesudheendra college of nursing , by participating in the memory walk organized by PrajnaUdbodhOrganisation in association with Cochin University, at durbar Hall Ground , Kochi.
In memory walk competition, SreeSudheendra College of Nursing Secured 3rdPrize, Cochin University Vice Chancellor Mr. K.N.Madhusoodanan awarded the certificate and Prize Amount of Rs.10, 000. Students reached back hostel at 8.00p.m.
Motivation Class 2019
On September 9, 2019 motivational class was conducted for all the students of SSCON by the most respected person Mr. Salu Mohammad, soft skill trainer’s strategist and columnist.
The motivation class was an exclusive means of inspiration for us and session was ended with national anthem
Yoga Day 2019
As a part of International Yoga Day Observation, students of Sree Sudheendra College of Nursing, Ambalamedu practiced Yoga and all Yoga Asanas in the college premises on 21/06/2019 from 6am - 6.30 am .As part of this, different Audio-visual aids regarding yoga and its Asanas were made by the students and displayed in the college premises. We train our students on admission itself and our students are practicing Yoga on a daily basis and we found it useful.
Charity 2019

Proven by the batch2011-15 by contributing a part of their salary by collecting Rs 38700 from 36 students of the first batch of SSCON to extend their helping hand to master Anoop, who is diagnosed with muscular dystrophy and was bed ridden due to paralysis of lower limbs for 11 years. And as a part the principal Prof.Dr.Sindhudevi M, the SNA advisor Mrs. Saumya Prasannakumar, college union advisor Mrs. Threissyamma Antony along with student representatives Ms Krishnapriya S and Ms Ashly Cyriac went to their home at Paravoor and handed over an amount of Rs 38700, cash check to his mother on 29th Aug 2019 at 12.00 pm. The cash check was given by the principal and was witnessed by the panchayath president Mr Anoop. After spending about half an hour with the child and his family we returned back at 12.30 pm. It was a great experience and an exuberating moment to be with the child.
